About the job:

We are looking for a Team leader in sterile production who will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and continuously improving production processes within a sterile manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead a team, delegate tasks, and ensure that production runs efficiently, safely, and in line with GMP standards. You will motivate and guide your team, organize training for new employees, monitor their development and performance, and contribute to the long-term strategy of the factory in alignment with the global operational plan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, monitor, and report on sterile production processes
  • Lead and manage the assigned team (shift leaders, specialists, and operators)
  • Maintain daily communication with the team; organize work, implement processes, and provide training and mentoring for new employees
  • Monitor employee development, efficiency, and quality of work; evaluate performance and identify development needs
  • Define criteria and assess competencies for hiring
  • Ensure a safe working environment for employees and visitors by applying safety procedures and enforcing work discipline in line with corporate rules and work instructions (occupational safety, fire protection, explosion protection)
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Create, introduce and control work instructions and operational procedures for the relevant part of the process
  • Prepare and/or control documentation by production/packaging phases, ensuring accurate tracking and implementation
  • Participate in creating and developing the factory strategy and long-term plan in line with the global operational plan and production unit strategy, including investment and staffing needs, to meet budget and long-term objectives
  • Plan production and coordinate problem-solving together with relevant departments (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.)
  • Cooperate with Engineering on preparing work and maintenance instructions for equipment and train employees to work on new equipment
  • Participate in validation of all segments of production, equipment, and transfer of new products, together with other relevant functions

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a technical, technological, or pharmaceutical field
  • Active user of the English language
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven skills in people and process management
  • Strong orientation toward continuous improvement and use of lean tools
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and make timely, sound decisions
  • Solid knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
