This role is responsible for developing the marketing and sales strategy for RX products to ensure the achievement of the company’s sales targets. The position will support the creation and implementation of marketing strategies for each product, assist in preparing marketing plans to meet sales objectives, and help plan and execute product launches in collaboration with other departments. The RX Lead bears a key responsibility for strict compliance with pharmaceutical laws and regulations, industry best practices, and ethical standards applicable to the promotion of medicines and other pharmaceutical products
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop marketing and sales strategies and define marketing plans
- Develop business plans and quarterly/annual budgets with clear revenue and profit targets, and update them on a regular basis, including preparation of presentations for senior management/Board level
- Create, implement, and monitor action plans and timelines for marketing activities for each product
- Provide strong leadership to the marketing and hospital teams to ensure target achievement and effective cost control
- Set KPIs and evaluate staff performance
- Identify and engage potential partners/principals to expand business activities
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in line with the company’s overall strategy in the relevant therapeutic areas
- Monitor competitor activities
- Monitor the pharmaceutical market and identify opportunities for new products from STADA’s Sx/Gx portfolio
- Develop, implement, and follow up on launch plans for new products
- Monitor and report key market information regarding customers, products, market trends, and competitors by conducting regular field visits together with medical sales representatives
- Report directly to the Deputy General Manager
- Initiate the introduction of new products, be fully familiar with product specifics, and prepare information and recommendations for management to support decisions on product launches and promotional plans
- Present new products to the sales team and provide the marketing strategy for each product to ensure all necessary steps are in place to support sales
- Lead the Product Manager in initiating and preparing marketing materials in line with company standards and ensure appropriate interaction with healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical stakeholders
- Perform all duties in strict compliance with Company Policies and all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure effective allocation of resources for the implementation of marketing and material plans
- Manage inventory in accordance with agreed plans and company policies
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
- Meets the qualifications set forth in applicable laws and regulations for this pharmaceutical position
- Experience in sales is an advantage
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel knowledge
