Head of Supply Chain, Greater China

Reporting line: Direct reports to GM of Greater China and dot line report to Head of Supply Chain of Emerging Market
Location: 上海浦东新区陆家嘴环路1233号汇亚大厦2502室.
Objectives of this role:
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, prioritize high-value initiatives and deliver rapid business impact in fast changing environments.
Lead supply chain design and execution to support Greater China growth agenda across CBEC, E-Commerce, Hospital Channel, Distributor Business, Hong Kong and Taiwan expansion.
Drive supply chain integration and expansion across Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, ensuring harmonized planning, sourcing, inventory and service strategies.
Act as Greater China representative in global and regional supply chain transformation initiatives, driving adoption of STADA operating model and best practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Steer and Secure Growth culture within SC organization.
- Secure Integrity and impose Speak up culture.
- Develop and execute the supply chain strategy for the Country in alignment with the company's overall business goals.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reduction, and process optimization across the supply chain.
- Be part of EM SCLT, deliver regional ambition to country, Be entrepreneur and enforce sense of urgency
2. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including procurement, logistics, demand planning, and inventory management.
- One STADA: Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the supply chain team.
3. Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Steer coordination with internal / external supply organizations
- Manage Supply risks and secure business targets reach
- Build robust supply continuity plans for critical products and suppliers, reducing dependency risks, quality disruptions and inventory write-offs
4. S&OP governance: Demand and Supply Balancing:
- Take ownership of S&OP process / organize- manage – structure Monthly Meetings inline with company standards
- Manage SISO templates, take proactive role in Stock in trade targets/ Sell out performance of markets,
- Ensure end-to-end visibility of distributor inventory, sell-out trends and channel inventory health, enabling proactive demand and supply decisions.
- Close follow up regional tender / opportunities
- Steer new product launch coordination with stakeholders, ensure timely availability.
5. Logistics and Distribution:
Take ownership of Supply chain and Logistics cost, manage Supply chain Budget
- Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and distribution centers.
- Optimize distribution networks to reduce lead times and transportation costs.
6. Operational Excellence:
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, quality, and agility.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
7. Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as geopolitical, regulatory, and operational challenges.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
8. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on supply chain performance and initiatives.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge and insights of full supply chain management
- SAP B1 experience and SAP experience is critical
- Ecom knowledge / managing distributor - distributor stock / HK - TW markets knowledge
- Strong at fast decision making and execution with entrepreneur mindset
- Experience of EU sourced supply management
- Experience of matrix org setup
- Good at cross functional complexity management
