Compliance and Ethics Manager   

Tashkent | Uzbekistan (UZ) | Full-time | Permanent | Legal | Professionals 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all Compliance and Ethics matters within the assigned territory, providing day-to-day guidance to colleagues and actively promoting ethical behavior in line with corporate values, the Global Code of Conduct, local legislation, and applicable regulations.
  • Contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Compliance and Ethics policies, training programs, and procedures, in close cooperation with regional and global Compliance teams.
  • Identifies vulnerable areas within the Compliance and Ethics program, proposes corrective and preventive actions, and ensures alignment with industry codes and internal company standards.
  • Participates in resolving speak-up cases, monitors the effectiveness of completed Compliance and Ethics activities, prepares reports, and proposes improvement measures where necessary.
  • Regularly informs the direct supervisor and Company management about ongoing activities, escalates issues requiring management involvement, maintains professional qualifications through relevant training, and performs other tasks within their competence.

 

Qualification Requirements:

  • Education: Higher education in Legal, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Business Administration. A specialization or certification in Compliance and Business Ethics will be considered an advantage.
  • Work experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Languages: Fluent command of English and Russian (both written and spoken).
  • Leadership qualities: ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams without direct reporting lines, decision-making in ambiguous situations, and influencing through expertise and argumentation.
