About the job:
In this role, you will independently manage strategic relationships with external suppliers, including contract, performance management, negotiations, and regular business reviews. You will help shape portfolio strategy, prepare budget estimations, and build a strong project pipeline in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders. You will closely monitor markets, product lifecycles, and supplier KPIs to ensure competitive commercial conditions, product availability, and optimal inventory levels while supporting Tenders. You will also drive internal optimization initiatives and proactively identify and manage risks to minimize business impact.

Responsibilities:
- Independent ownership and management of business relationships with external suppliers
- Active engagement in defining business strategy for portfolio managed in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders
- Close collaboration with BD&L, Transfer Team & Launch Team, ensuring maximum leverage of business relationship growing potential
- Preparing budget estimations, while ensuring achievement of strong pipeline defined for portfolio managed, through projects initiatives
- Independent execution of negotiations for achieving competitive commercial conditions. While providing support to Tender Team with aim to ensure competitiveness of STADA`s products
- Close monitoring of market developments, close exchange with market representatives, with aim to understand product requirements & ensure competitive commercial conditions, together with product availability
- Close monitoring of supplier performance through KPIs defined, while implementing strategy for recovery path and targets achievements
- Ensuring proactive internal stakeholder management, including requirements on affiliate level, close collaboration with Supply Chain and Operational Purchasing
- Close monitoring of product lifecycle, ensuring enough volumes, while taking care about inventory levels
- Strong contract management, through close collaboration with internal Contract Management Team and independent Contract management after first signature
- Performing independent supplier business review meetings by having close exchange with internal stakeholders and ensuring sharing straight forward strategy to external suppliers, with the focus on timely implementation
- Proactive risk identification and management, while ensuring minimization of negative impact on business
- Engagement/leading of internal optimization projects

 Qualifications:
- University degree in natural sciences, business administration or comparable education background
- Proven professional experience of minimum 5 years in strategic procurement, preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry
- Experience in working in complex supply network, with world-wide distributed suppliers and complex portfolio management
- Experience in leading business relationship management with external suppliers
- High level of independence during negotiation of competitive commercial conditions
- Good understanding of market requirements and focus on supply execution
- Understanding successful key stages of product lifecycle starting from signing the deal, ensuring competitive position on the market during launch/post-launch phase and extending phase of product competitiveness on the market
- Ownership of business analytics, and strong data management in place
- Leading collaboration with multifunctional teams, focusing on achieving team strategy/cross-functional way of thinking required
- Able to manage complex projects, requiring ability to understand different requirements and define best way forward
- Problem solving abilities, strong confidence level, able to manage highly complex situations
- Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal communication
