Credit Management Specialist
Location: Belgrade

 

About the job:  
As a Credit Management Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing the financial reliability of customers, managing credit risk and receivables collection, in close cooperation with the sales team, commercial banks and insurance companies, all in line with internal policies and applicable regulations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitors the creditworthiness of existing customers, their status changes and credit exposure
  • Assesses risk and provides an opinion regarding the start of cooperation with new customers
  • Monitors customers until the final collection of receivables and, in case of insolvency, proposes measures for collection
  • Closely cooperates with the sales team to support the achievement of sales plans through effective credit management
  • Cooperates with insurance companies and brokerage firms regarding receivables insurance
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports for internal teams and external partners
  • Prepares documentation and submits receivables claims to the insurance company in case of delayed payment by customers
  • Is responsible for the consistent application of the Credit Management Policy
  • Participates in proposing new system solutions in the area of SAP FSCM functionality
  • Regularly monitors changes in relevant legal regulations and ensures that practices are aligned with applicable legislation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completed undergraduate studies in economics, finance or related social sciences, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of relevant legal regulations related to the protection of company assets and capital
  • Preferably experienced in working with the SAP system
  • English language skills at a conversational level (German is an advantage, but not mandatory)
  • High level of responsibility, diligence and reliability in work
  • Proactivity, cooperativeness and strong team orientation.
