Site Quality Head - Bad Vilbel (f/m/d)

What you can expect

 

In this key leadership role, you will hold overall responsibility for the quality organization at our site, including the QC laboratory. You will collaborate closely with the Site Leadership Team, the quality organizations at other sites, and our international Quality Cluster. As a strategic business partner, you will make a vital contribution to patient safety, compliance, operational excellence, and the long-term success of our business.

 

  • You ensure excellent operational quality performance and drive continuous improvement in terms of quality, service, lead times, and costs
  • You lead and develop the quality function at the site and firmly anchor the quality philosophy within the organization
  • You support the implementation of the company vision through clear decision-making, strategic thinking, and active change management
  • You ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (GxP, ISO, HACCP) for pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, medical devices, and cosmetics
  • You ensure that the site is “inspection ready” at all times and proactively prepare inspections by authorities as well as customer audits
  • You attract, develop, and retain high-performing employees through targeted development, coaching, mentoring, and consistent people development
  • You drive process improvements by using modern quality methods, audit programs, CAPA systems, and effective feedback and complaint processes and digital solutions that support the future of quality management
  • You participate in global projects and ensure successful and timely implementation of the results at the site, including innovative initiatives in digitalization, automation and AI-enabled quality processes
  • You are responsible for the budget of the quality organization and ensure the necessary resources to achieve the site objectives

 

 

 Who we are looking for

 

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in pharmacy, natural sciences, or a comparable field of study
  • You have at least ten years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • You bring proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, or quality assurance, ideally in a role as Site Quality Head or Head of Department
  • You have in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in a pharmaceutical environment
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and change management skills, and you are able to build and further develop high-performing teams
  • You combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working
  • You are business-fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
