Senior Manager Sales Excellence (f/m/d)   

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Permanent | Sales & Marketing & Customer Service | Professionals 

 

In this important role, you will take on a key position in the commercial area of STADA: You will leverage your sales excellence expertise and analytical strength to enhance field force performance in the pharmaceutical environment and help shape the development of the German business units – Consumer Health Care, Specialty, and Generics.
 
 
What you can expect
 
  • You will work in a business-critical staff function, report to the Head of Sales Excellence, and support the growth plans of STADA's German portfolio.
  • You will take responsibility for the design, implementation, and further development of sales excellence programs for the field force.
  • You will shape key sales excellence levers such as go-to-market management, segmentation & targeting, and territory structures (territory alignment).
  • You will design incentive and compensation models and develop a KPI-based control and performance management logic.
  • You will define and evaluate SFE metrics and derive data-driven recommendations for sales improvement.
  • You will act as a strategic partner for General Managers, Business Unit Heads, and Heads of Sales, working closely with sales organizations and central functions.
  • You will identify growth opportunities and lead cross-functional projects with business stakeholders.

Who we are looking for
 
  • You have a completed university degree, ideally in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field; a qualification in sales or commercial excellence is an advantage.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in sales or commercial excellence functions with expertise in go-to-market management, segmentation & targeting, territory alignment, incentive models, and KPI-based performance management, preferably in the pharmaceutical oder FMCG industry.
  • You have experience in implementing sales incentive systems across multiple business units.
  • You bring strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, and you can translate complex data into relevant recommendations and presentations.
  • You have solid knowledge of CRM systems, ideally Salesforce; experience with CRM-based marketing automation solutions is a plus.
  • You excel in communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, and you can align diverse stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • You have strong project management competencies and a pragmatic, hands-on working style.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, at a business level.
