eCommerce Content & Digital Shelf Specialist
Reading | UK | Full-Time | Permanent
As eCommerce Content & Digital Shelf Specialist, you will play a key role in creating, designing and optimising content across retailer and marketplace platforms in the UK. You will own product content and digital shelf execution, ensuring best-in-class product detail pages, strong search visibility and a consistent brand experience that drives conversion and compliance.
Working closely with the eCommerce team, CHC Marketing and local Sales teams, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of UK eCommerce content, from copy and visual asset creation to publishing and optimisation. Using data and AI-powered tools, you will continuously improve how our brands perform on the digital shelf and help define what “great” looks like for eCommerce content at STADA.
How you will make an impact
- You will take ownership of day-to-day digital shelf execution across key UK retailers and marketplaces, enriching and publishing approved content via PIM/DAM and retailer tools, and applying best practice for PDPs, search and merchandising to boost discoverability and conversion.
- Manage the full lifecycle of eCommerce content, writing and refining eCommerce-ready copy, briefing and quality-controlling creative assets, maintaining content libraries and ensuring all content complies with brand, regulatory and data privacy standards.
- Use digital shelf analytics, retailer dashboards and AI-enabled insight tools to track KPIs such as search visibility, share of shelf, PDP quality and reviews, diagnosing issues and implementing quick, targeted fixes.
- Plan and run A/B tests on titles, imagery and rich content, champion a test-and-learn mindset, and share insights, recommendations and best practice examples with eCommerce, Sales and Marketing stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Omnichannel eActivation and customer teams to translate NPD launches and campaigns into “retailer-ready” PDPs and brand pages, support customer-specific activation plans, and act as an internal advocate for content and digital shelf excellence.
What we are looking for
- 2–4+ years’ experience in eCommerce content, digital shelf management, online merchandising or similar roles, ideally within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare, and a proven track record of creating and executing PDP content for major retailers or marketplaces.
- You understand onsite search and SEO principles and how titles, copy, imagery, attributes and reviews impact traffic and conversion, using this knowledge to optimise the digital shelf.
- You are hands-on with retailer portals, PIM/DAM or content syndication and analytics tools, and feel comfortable using (and experimenting with) AI-enabled tools to enhance quality and efficiency while maintaining accuracy, compliance and brand tone of voice.
- You have excellent written English and can translate technical product information into clear, compelling consumer benefit-led copy that resonates with shoppers and meets retailer guidelines.
- You are detail-oriented, organised and collaborative, enjoying the blend of creative and analytical work and keen to keep learning as digital retail and content tools evolve.
