EG Consumer Care creates innovative brands of nutritional supplements, medical aids and medicines that are available in pharmacies without prescription (OTC). We emphasize ‘evidence-based nutraceuticals’: nutritional supplements that are scientifically tested and who help you sustain your health. EG Specialty Care also offers very specialized prescription medicines – mainly to hospitals and psychiatric institutions. Supply Chain Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations for our pharmaceutical business in Belgium. This is a pivotal role at the crossroads of operations, commercial, and regulatory functions — requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. This role covers the three business units: Consumer Healthcare, Generics and Specialty Care. You will manage a team and serve as the central link between multiple internal stakeholders to ensure product availability in line with our purpose “Caring for peoples’ health as a trusted partner”.

 

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Ensure accurate demand forecasts are maintained in close collaboration with the business units
  • Ensure demand signals are translated from various sources into a robust demand and supply plan, managing inventory levels to balance service levels with working capital targets whilst at the same time minimizing write-offs
  • Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain and propose mitigation actions proactively

Procurement

  • Manage relationships with internal suppliers and contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, continuity of supply, and competitive costs
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Inbound logistics

Artwork Management

  • Ensure the artwork change and approval process for product packaging is adhered to, working closely with Pharmaceutical Affairs, Marketing, and external vendors
  • Ensure a clear overview of artwork versions is maintained and ensure regulatory compliance at all times

S&OP Process

  • Organize and facilitate S&OP demand and supply review meetings, bringing together Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive data decision-making across the business
  • Prepare and present supply chain performance data and forward-looking scenarios to senior leadership
  • Drive alignment across functions and escalate critical issues with clear recommendations

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary supply chain interface for internal stakeholders including Business development, Sales, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Affairs, QA, Finance and Controlling, Customer Service and STADA (External Supplier Organisation or direct procurement, Inventory Management, IBP Supply Planning, Demand Planning, ESG, Launches and Transfers Team, KPI Team)
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency

People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a supply chain team, setting clear objectives and supporting professional growth
  • Create a high-performance, engaged team environment aligned with the company’s growth culture

 

Your Profile

  • Highly Motivated, Energetic and Passionate (MEP)
  • You act in line with our values: Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Agility and One Stada.
  • Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated through relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning, S&OP processes, procurement, and logistics operations
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (GDP, GMP awareness, artwork processes) is a strong asset
  • Proficient in ERP systems and planning tools; experience with SAP ECC or S/4 and SAP IBP is an advantage
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions
  • Strong communicator and natural collaborator, able to work effectively and efficiently across hierarchical levels and functional boundaries
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken); French is a plus
