Job Summary
Â
The Supply Chain Manager for Egypt & Libya is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations across both markets, ensuring high forecast accuracy, reliable product availability, and efficient supply execution. The role partners closely with Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing Sites, Logistics, and external customers to deliver sustainable service excellence and robust operational performance. This position oversees demand planning, supply planning, order execution, S&OP alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives across the cluster.
Area of Responsibility
Demand Planning & Forecast Management
- Maintain and update all forecast and replenishment data in ILP using validated inputs from the Commercial team.
- Review rolling forecasts, identify replenishment needs, validate assumptions, and highlight significant changes or risks.
- Lead demand review meetings with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on promotions, events, lifecycle changes, and market activities.
- Conduct regular S&OP meetings with customers to review forecast accuracy, demand signals, service levels, and upcoming supply constraints.
- Prepare and communicate Forecast Accuracy KPIs for Egypt and Libya, including root-cause analysis and improvement actions.

Order & Customer Service Management
Â
- Enter and update validated customer orders in SAP B1, triggering purchase order creation when required.
- Own and maintain the LO file, ensuring accurate updates of supply confirmations, order status, lead times, deviations, and remarks.
- Validate completeness of all logistics documentation in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure strong customer service performance across markets through timely communication and proactive issue resolution.

Supply Planning & Execution
- Coordinate supply execution for all Egypt and Libya demand signals captured in SAP B1.
- Liaise with manufacturing sites and external suppliers to validate production plans, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Validate available capacities, identify upcoming bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Recommend optimizations in production cycles, batch sizes, inventory deployment, and replenishment processes.
- Raise stock-build and safety-stock purchase orders with cross-functional alignment when required.
- Update supply confirmations and remarks in the LO file to reflect real-time execution status and expected delivery.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify supply risks, develop mitigation actions, and communicate impacts to cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and documentation flow.
- Support optimization of working capital through efficient stock management and demand- driven replenishment strategies.

Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office package (Excel/Word/PP).
- ERP.
- Demand Forecasting tool.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and/or certificates in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain and logistics roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical supply chain operations
