Specialist Medical Writing

About the job: As Specialist Medical Writing, you will be part of our Global Medical Affairs /Corporate Pharmacovigilance department. Together with the Global Medical Affairs Generics/Consumer Healthcare team, you will work on a wide range of medical and scientific topics and contribute to high‑quality scientific communication in this area.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of medical‑scientific assessments, particularly in the context of regulatory procedures, benefit–risk evaluations, and portfolio expansion assessments
• Preparation and updating of Environmental Risk Assessments (ERA)
• Collaboration with external consultants and laboratories for the generation of ERA data
• Evaluation of ERAs provided by dossier holders
• Conducting literature searches to support medical‑scientific, toxicological, and environmental risk assessments
• Preparation of toxicological assessments
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and Quality Management
• Supporting the response to medical enquiries from patients, physicians, pharmacists, and local affiliates

Qualification:

• University degree in pharmacy, medicine, or another natural science
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with background in medical-scientific affairs (focus on toxicological topics) is highly appreciated
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills (participation in cross-functional teams)
• Responsible, thorough and independent work
• Structured, result-oriented, dependable work style
