About the job:

As a Senior Buyer in direct procurement, you will be involved in the entire procurement process, including all necessary activities and actions to ensure that goods are purchased at the right location, in the right quantity at an adequate price, with optimal use of resources.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing daily, weekly, monthly and annual consumption and demand and based on that on one side and the level of flexibility of supply on the other, executing procurement decisions
• Participating in negotiations with suppliers
• Working on identifying new saving opportunities
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and monitoring their performance
• Monitoring purchase requisitions and creating requests for quotation, preparing comparative overviews of offers in the SAP R/3 system, creating purchase orders and verifying invoices in the SAP system

Qualifications:

• University degree in economics or a related social science field
• At least one year of relevant work experience
• Active use of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
• Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
