Senior FP&A Analyst – Emerging Markets

Description – Senior FP&A Analyst (Emerging Markets)

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Reporting To: FP&A Manager - Emerging Markets

Role Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic Senior FP&A Analyst to support the Emerging Markets FP&A organization. This role will focus on regional consolidation, performance reporting, forecasting, analytics, and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple markets. The role requires someone comfortable working with complexity, multiple stakeholders, and high reporting discipline in a multinational regional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Reporting & Consolidation

1. Support monthly consolidation of financial performance across Emerging Markets.
2. Prepare regional management reporting packs for senior leadership.
3. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of submissions from markets.
4. Coordinate reporting timelines and deliverables with country finance teams.

Forecasting & Planning

1. Support regional budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles.
2. Consolidate country submissions and challenge assumptions where needed.
3. Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling.

Performance Analytics

1. Analyze regional performance across: Revenue
2. Gross margin
3. Operating expenses
4. EBITDA
5. Working capital
6. Cash flow drivers
7. Identify trends, risks, and performance improvement opportunities.

Finance Business Support

1. Support the FP&A Manager in executive presentations, board materials, and leadership reporting.
2. Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions.
3. Support productivity and margin improvement initiatives.

Governance & Process Excellence

1. Improve reporting governance and standardization across markets.
2. Support automation and reporting simplification.
3. Ensure high-quality financial data and reporting discipline.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Work closely with market finance teams, accounting, supply chain, and commercial stakeholders.
2. Act as coordination point during planning and reporting cycles.

Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.
2. 4–6 years of relevant FP&A / Finance experience.
3. Experience in regional or multinational environments strongly preferred.
4. Strong financial analysis and reporting background.
5. Accounting exposure is a plus.
6. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling skills.
7. ERP/reporting systems experience (SAP / Oracle / Power BI preferred).
8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
9. Fluent English required.
