Role: Project Director – Specialty Portfolio

Location: Cairo, Egypt

STADA is strengthening its Specialty portfolio organization in Emerging Markets, and we are looking for a Project Director – Specialty Portfolio to lead and orchestrate a complex, high‑impact pipeline spanning innovative medicines and biosimilars.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role at the intersection of portfolio strategy, cross‑functional execution, and governance - working closely with Business Development, Portfolio Management, Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Market Access, and Supply Chain teams across multiple emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership & Governance

• Lead and oversee a diversified Specialty portfolio across evaluation, development, and launch‑readiness stages
• Drive portfolio governance, milestones, dependencies, and risk management
• Ensure disciplined prioritization and go / no‑go decision‑making aligned with EM strategy

Cross‑Functional Orchestration

• Coordinate complex, multi‑country projects across Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, Finance, and BD
• Lead portfolio cadence meetings, alignment forums, and senior steering committees
• Proactively identify bottlenecks, delays, and risks with clear mitigation actions

Business Case & Asset Development

• Oversee business case preparation, validation, and internal approvals for Specialty assets
• Ensure quality and consistency of financial, medical, regulatory, and commercial inputs
• Support partner interactions and deal execution in close collaboration with BD teams

Reporting & Transparency

• Maintain portfolio trackers, dashboards, and executive‑level updates
• Provide leadership with clear visibility on progress, risks, and value creation

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, with strong exposure to Specialty / Innovative / Biosimilar portfolios
• Proven experience in portfolio leadership, project or program management, or senior PMO roles
• Solid understanding of the end‑to‑end asset lifecycle (assessment → development → launch readiness)
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrix, multi‑country Emerging Markets environment
• Strong analytical, structuring, and stakeholder‑management skills
• Experience in financial modelling and P&L management
