Country Finance Officer (CFO) – Czech Republic

Location: Prague with occasional presence in Třinec (Walmark production site)

To further strengthen our business in the Czech Republic – including our Walmark production site in Třinec – we are looking for an experienced and business‑oriented CFO who will act as a key strategic partner to the General Manager and the local leadership team.
As a key STADA market with a strong OTC and branded generics portfolio, the Czech Republic offers a high level of complexity and visibility within the Group.

Your impact

In this senior leadership role, you will have full responsibility for the Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics functions in the Czech Republic. You will drive financial performance, ensure strong governance and compliance, and support sustainable, profitable growth across both commercial activities and the Walmark production site in Třinec. You will work closely with Group Finance and regional stakeholders, ensuring that the Czech business contributes strongly and transparently to STADA’s overall performance.

What you will do

• Co-create and execute the financial strategy for the Czech Republic in line with STADA’s overall ambitions
• Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and leadership team, providing clear, insightful financial guidance
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for the Czech market
• Ensure accurate, timely and transparent financial reporting according to local regulations and Group standards
• Analyze financial performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions
• Support investment decisions and capital allocation (business cases, scenarios, post‑investment reviews)
• Secure compliance with accounting, tax and regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls
• Proactively identify and manage financial risks and define mitigation actions
• Lead, develop and inspire the Finance team and the Supply Chain & Logistics team
• Drive process improvements, standardization, digitalization and efficiency initiatives

What you bring

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (Master’s / MBA is an advantage)
• 8 + years of relevant finance experience in an international and/or matrix organization, including a senior leadership role (Head of Finance / CFO / Senior Finance Manager)
• Strong background in FP&A, controlling and business partnering; experience in pharma, healthcare, FMCG or other regulated industries is a plus
• Excellent command of financial management, accounting standards, internal controls and compliance; strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP)
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire teams, with strategic, enterprise‑wide mindset and experience in driving change and process improvements
• Fluent English; Czech language skills are a strong advantage
