STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Packaging Artworker

Huddersfield |U.K.| Full-time | Permanent |Hybrid & Flexible Hours

Want your artwork to do more than just look good?

As an Artworker in our growing internal studio 🎨, you’ll turn complex requirements into clean, accurate packaging artwork that directly supports patient safety 🩺. You’ll work across a range of pharmaceutical and FMCG components – from cartons and labels to tubes and patient information leaflets 📦📄 – ensuring everything you produce is technically sound, print ready and fully compliant .

Here, you’ll join a genuinely open culture where your uniqueness is valued 🌈 and your voice matters 🗣️. You’ll report to the Artwork Studio Manager, owning deadlines ⏱️ while helping to refine processes, boost right first time delivery 🎯 and reduce risk for a global regulated business 🌍.

If you’re a detail driven artworker who wants to blend creative problem solving with meaningful impact 💡 to help us develop our in-house studio, we’d love to work with you 🤝.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Create high‑quality, print‑ready pharmaceutical and FMCG packaging in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop, turning complex briefs and assets into clean, accurate artwork.
  • Own multiple projects across cartons, labels, tubes and leaflets, applying approved copy, cutters and specs with meticulous attention to detail & setting in adherence with printer specification
  • Make accuracy your signature: rigorous proofreading, artwork checks and compliance with strict regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Work within robust, regulated workflows – using systems like GLAMS, trackers and DAM to manage versions, approvals and secure file storage.
  • Collaborate with coordinators, printers and technical stakeholders, responding clearly to feedback and flagging risks before they become issues.
  • Use your reprographics know‑how to deliver structured, press‑ready files that run smoothly on press and minimise queries, changes and rework.

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience in artworker or reprographics roles
  • Experience of delivering high quality packaging artwork to brief
  • Understanding of the importance of accuracy in regulated patientfacing content & materials
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical, qualityfocused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple artwork tasks while meeting deadlines and regulatory expectations
  • A collaborative communication style, comfortable working with crossfunctional stakeholders
  • Advantageous to have, but not essential experience: Color Management, GMG, flexo, 3D rendering
