About the job:
As an OpEx Leader, you will support the leadership team in ensuring operational excellence is fully integrated into business management processes and aligned with the appropriate governance structure. You will lead strategic projects, deliver key project phases, results, and qualitative/financial goals using operational excellence tools and methodologies. Additionally, you will mentor and train employees involved in operational excellence projects, enabling the introduction of Lean management processes to improve daily performance and respond quickly to deviations from standard performance.

Responsibilities:
- Support to the leadership team in ensuring that operational excellence is fully integrated into business management processes and aligned with the appropriate management structure.
- Leads strategic projects and delivers key project phases, results, and qualitative/financial goals using operational excellence tools and methodologies. Manages the project portfolio on-site and reports on progress.
- Improves and monitors performance management systems in production facilities.
- Acts as a mentor and trainer to employees involved in operational excellence by leading projects and using appropriate tools throughout the process until project goals are achieved.
- Enables the introduction of Lean management processes to improve daily performance and quickly respond to deviations from standard performance.
- In collaboration with functional managers, ensures that operational excellence performance standards and understanding of the entire value stream are embedded in the mindset and all key operational processes, based on understanding customer needs (internal/external).
- Ensures the application of a standard approach and processes for solving key root causes of problems.
- Trains individuals and project teams on key operational excellence methodologies relevant to their work on process improvements, the site leadership team, sponsors, and all appropriate employees on specific operational excellence tools relevant to their daily work (Lean, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, RCPS, Project Management, etc.). Ensures understanding of needs, gaps, and development plans for operational excellence, and ensures continuous engagement of employees trained in operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- University degree in technology, pharmacy, medicine, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process improvement roles.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical GMP.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Preferably holds an internationally recognized Six Sigma Green Belt certificate.
- Additional knowledge or training in communication, business finance, statistics, change management, teaching skills, and program management is desirable.
