Job Summary

The jobholder is primarily responsible for driving sustainable sales growth and maximize market share for the company’s oncology portfolio across assigned key accounts in Egypt. The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for developing strategic account plans, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring optimal execution of commercial, medical, and market access activities within private hospitals, oncology centers, UPA, government hospitals, teaching hospitals, and national cancer centers.


Area of Responsibility  

  1. Strategic Account Management & Business Growth


Achieve or exceed business objectives for the oncology portfolio within assigned hospitals and institutions.
Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each key account.
Lead the end-to-end tender process and ensure product listing, availability, and inclusion in procurement cycles and national formularies.
Identify new business opportunities to drive growth and expand product utilization.
Monitor sales performance, analyze territory data, and provide accurate forecasting.
Ensure successful execution of product launches and promotional campaigns.


2. Sales Growth & Commercial Strategy

 

Achieve business objectives and tender awards for the oncology portfolio in both private and the government sector.
Develop and implement strategic account plans for PVT and MOH/UPA institutions aligned with national oncology priorities.
Identify growth opportunities within private and government cancer centers, and specialized oncology institutes.
Track performance vs. tender volumes, reimbursement, and institutional utilization.


3. Stakeholder Engagement & KOL Management

Establish and maintain trusted relationships with oncologists, KOLs, hospital pharmacists, department heads, and procurement teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for all customer interactions within assigned accounts.
Organize scientific meetings, educational sessions, and one-to-one engagements with HCPs


Build and maintain strong scientific and strategic relationships with:
MOH oncology decision makers
UPA procurement officials
Hospital directors and department heads
Leading oncologists and KOLs in government institutions.


Drive disease awareness, guideline updates, and product education through medical/scientific activities.
Support Medical Affairs in organizing advisory boards, RWE projects, and clinical education programs.

 


4. Tender & Pricing Support

Provide accurate forecasting for upcoming MOH/UPA tenders and procurement cycles.
Support tender submissions, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations when required.
Ensure compliance with pricing regulations, tender timelines, and UPA documentation requirements.


5. Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Marketing, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Provide field insights to internal teams to support strategic planning and brand development.
Provide field insights on MOH policies, UPA trends, procurement barriers, and patient access challenges.
Facilitate smooth communication between hospital stakeholders and internal teams to resolve issues.


6. Compliance & Reporting

 

Ensure all activities comply with company policies, SOPs, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including call reports, account plans, and expense reports.
Ensure proper AE (Adverse Event) reporting as per internal processes.
