Manager - Global Project Management

About the job: In this role, you will lead critical projects and programs across the business, empowering teams and fostering collaboration to achieve impactful results. You will guide projects through their complete lifecycle, including own/co-developments and in-licensing initiatives, while driving key strategic projects and supporting process improvements and business-wide innovations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead projects and programs effectively, including defining the project scope (objectives, strategy, resources, costs), running project meetings, creating and maintaining end-to-end project plans, communicating status updates and capturing (and tracking) project risks
  • Co-ordinate and run project review meetings to monitor project milestones, escalate issues (where needed) and report on progress. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned and highlight risks and blockers effectively 
  • Use your own initiative (and collaborate with business leaders) to determine which priority projects require more support from the according business functions
  • Ensure changes to project deliverables and timelines are effectively managed and clearly communicated to stakeholders
  • Develop agile processes to support entrepreneurial approach within project teams; foster enthusiasm and teamwork, build relationships and celebrate achievements
  • Resolve project related conflicts through skilled negotiation, tact, and diplomacy, where necessary
  • Conduct project reviews post key project stages and share learnings for future projects as best practice.

Requirements

  • University degree in science (preferably Pharmacology, Medicine, Biology, or Chemistry). 
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing projects, ideally multidisciplinary ones within the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical product development processes and regulatory procedures, including collaboration with external suppliers. 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive results in dynamic environments. 
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and flexible approach. 
  • Enthusiasm for driving change and a passion for achieving impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
