Manager Demand Planning OTC Generics Germany (f/m/d)

As Demand Planning Manager, you are part of our local Supply Chain team and play a key role in translating market insights into an accurate demand forecast. Together with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain you ensure reliable planning, support the delivery of the business targets and contribute to excellent customer service. You also coordinate day‑to‑day supply chain activities together with the Supply Chain Planners, with a strong focus on meeting service level and inventory targets.

 

What you can expect

 

  • You will create and update the monthly demand forecast for your product portfolio.
  • You will collect, challenge and align input from Sales and Marketing on promotions, launches, seasonality and competitive activities.
  • You will maintain the statistical base forecast in SAP IBP and continuously work on improving forecast accuracy.
  • You will lead the local S&OP meeting, preparing the deck, reviewing KPIs, highlighting gaps to plan, risks and opportunities, and tracking actions.
  • You will support the achievement of service level and inventory targets by providing transparent demand signals and scenario analyses.
  • You will coordinate day‑to‑day supply chain activities together with the Supply Chain Planner to ensure high product availability.
  • You will support inventory planning for new products, existing items and product phase‑outs, providing input to global and regional supply planning teams.

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • You bring at least 5 years of Supply Chain experience, preferably in demand and/or supply planning.
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are confident working with numbers and KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level and inventory.
  • You are flexible and agile, able to transfer your skills and knowledge quickly between different areas of expertise, and you bring a growth mindset that consistently focuses on creating business value.
  • You have experience with planning tools (ideally SAP IBP) and solid knowledge of SAP ERP/BW as well as MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
