IT Specialist for OT Systems and Networks (f/m/d)

What you can expect

 

  • You will plan, implement, and maintain OT network infrastructures by building, configuring, and optimizing network systems in production-related environments, including firewalls and other network components
  • You will ensure network security by implementing and monitoring security concepts to protect OT systems against internal and external threats
  • You will perform GMP-compliant qualification and validation measures (IQ/OQ/PQ) for OT systems and network infrastructures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines
  • You will create and maintain documentation by drafting Change Controls (CCs), SOPs, risk analyses, technical specifications, and other GMP-relevant documents
  • You will analyze and resolve network disruptions, supporting production processes through quick and efficient problem-solving
  • You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams such as IT, production, quality assurance, and external service providers to ensure smooth operations
  • You will continuously monitor network performance and implement measures to optimize system availability and efficiency
  • You will conduct training sessions on network technologies and GMP requirements, promoting knowledge transfer

 

Who we are looking for

 

  • You have a degree or vocational training in computer science or a comparable qualification, such as a technician or IT specialist
  • You bring several years of experience in the OT field, ideally with a focus on network infrastructures in industrial environments
  • You have proven experience in GMP-regulated environments, particularly in system qualification and the creation of GMP-compliant documentation such as Change Controls, URS, or FDS
  • You possess solid knowledge of network and server technologies such as TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, and firewall management
  • Ideally, you have Linux expertise and experience operating hypervisors like vSphere or Proxmox
  • You are characterized by analytical thinking, an independent and structured working style, teamwork, and strong communication skills
  • You have very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
