STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Project Manager – EPD & NPD

Huddersfield | U.K.| Full-time | Permanent

Shape what’s on tomorrow’s shelves. We’re looking for a Project Manager who thrives in the fast-paced world of pharma / FMCG NPD & EPD, relishes change and knows how to bring cross‑functional teams together to deliver with pace and precision.

In this role, you’ll steer a varied portfolio of projects – from concept to launch – making sure every initiative moves smoothly through the full Project Lifecycle. You’ll lead high‑profile NPD (New Product Development) and EPD (Existing Product Development) projects that directly impact our brands, customers and consumers, while also driving process improvements and supporting critical, UK-wide business initiatives.

If you want your project management skills to translate into real products, real customers and real growth, enhancing your experience across both FMCG and regulated pharma sectors, this is where you’ll make it happen.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of NPD & EPD projects – from defining scope and strategy to detailed planning, risk management and clear status reporting.
  • Run focused project reviews that keep product range review milestones on track, surface and escalate issues early, and keep all stakeholders aligned on risks and blockers.
  • Use your judgement and influence with business leaders to identify and prioritise the projects that matter most – and focus support where it will have the greatest impact.
  • Guide projects smoothly through UK and Global stage gate governance, producing robust documentation and maintaining accurate, up-to-date trackers.
  • Manage change with confidence – controlling shifts in scope and timelines and communicating them clearly to every stakeholder.
  • Champion an agile, entrepreneurial culture in project teams: foster collaboration, resolve conflict with tact and diplomacy, celebrate success and embed best practice through post‑project reviews.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven project management, ideally with multi-disciplinary FMCG and / or regulated pharma product experience – bonus if you know Rx, OTC or health & beauty.
  • Confident leader with a collaborative style who can influence, galvanise teams and steer them through change in a fast-growth environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a solid grasp of NPD & EPD delivery and how different functions – and third‑party suppliers – contribute to success.
  • Clear, persuasive communicator with well-honed negotiation skills and the ability to bring stakeholders with you.
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to flex and adapt when plans change while keeping multiple tasks on track.
  • Energetic, resilient problem solver who makes sound decisions under pressure, stays professional in ambiguity
  • Ideally holds a project management qualification.
