STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Digital Marketing Manager

Huddersfield |U.K.| Full-time | Permanent

 

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital strategy and elevate the visibility and engagement of our consumer healthcare brands across key digital platforms.

As part of the senior leadership team, you will shape and deliver our digital vision, ensuring alignment with business priorities and enterprise strategy. You’ll inspire and develop a high-performing team, foster creativity and accountability, and drive digital transformation to deliver sustainable business growth — all while role-modelling our company values and commitment to compliance

 

How You Will Make An Impact

 

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Shape and communicate a compelling digital marketing vision aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and anticipate digital trends to keep the business ahead

 

2. Management of SEO/Content

  • Lead the planning and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive brand visibility.
  • Conduct keyword and competitor analysis, and ensure implementation in brand SEO strategy.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital content.
  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities, including link building, meta tag optimisation, and technical SEO.
  • Monitor and analyse website performance using analytics platforms, ensuring learnings are implemented

 

3. Campaign Management

  • Develop and manage SEA (PPC) campaigns to complement organic search efforts.
  • Analyse campaign performance and proactively adjust strategies based on data-driven insights

 

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Utilise analytics tools to track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on SEO and SEA performance and ROI, including recommendations for improvement

 

5. Social

  • Develop and manage social media activity to maximise communication opportunities and search visibility.
  • Manage opportunities with social commerce such as TikTok Shop

 

6. People & Culture Leadership

  • Develop, coach, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a culture of feedback, inclusion, and high performance.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and belonging within the team and wider organisation

 

7. Change & Transformation

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, driving adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
  • Inspire and support teams through periods of change and ambiguity

 

8. Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CHC Marketing, eCommerce, Global Digital, Corporate Communications and Customer Services, to ensure cohesive marketing efforts

 

9. Budget Management

  • Proactively monitor and manage spending, optimising campaigns to maximise return on investment

 

10. Integrity & Accountability

  • Model ethical behaviour, transparency, and accountability in all actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, and promote a culture of integrity

We’re looking for someone who shares this spirit and brings the following qualifications and skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a consumer-facing digital marketing role.
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and paid search strategies.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing SEO and SEA campaigns and social media activity.
  • Proficiency in SEO and SEA tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or a regulated industry is a plus.
