Quality Control Specialist

About the job:
As a Process Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for the analytical technique of gas chromatography (GC), and your scope of work will also include other activities related to ensuring reliable laboratory tests and analyses. You will be involved in the implementation, optimization and validation of analytical methods and equipment, actively participate in out-of-specification (OOS) investigations, as well as in deviation and complaint management within the scope of laboratory activities.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and monitoring trends for water and gases, performing analyses in line with approved analytical methods, with a particular focus on gas chromatography.
- Participating in investigations of out-of-specification results, and in activities related to deviations and customer complaints in the field of laboratory activities.
- Implementing, optimizing and validating analytical methods, participating in validation and qualification activities, as well as verifying logbooks and other documentation.
- Introducing simpler new equipment into routine use, planning the procurement of chemicals and consumables, as well as drafting/revising Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
- University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Technology or Biology.
- Hands-on experience with gas chromatography (GC) or significant experience in an analytical laboratory in the field of testing volatile components.
- Conversational level of English and advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and openness to teamwork.
