Procurement Supervisor at Velexfarm

Location: Belgrade, Serbia

 

About the Role

As a Procurement Supervisor, you will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and controlling the procurement process for products, while ensuring optimal inventory levels and compliance with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and applicable legal regulations. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and the procurement function of the parent company to ensure continuity of supply and secure the most favorable commercial terms for the company.

 

Responsibilities:

* Organize and oversee the end-to-end product procurement process in line with the company’s procurement policy.
* Ensure timely procurement and maintain optimal inventory levels across product categories and programs.
* Collaborate with the procurement team of the parent company in the execution of requests for direct materials and services.
* Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable laws, registration requirements, price lists, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles.
* Review and verify the accuracy of incoming documentation for purchased products.
* Monitor the fulfillment of contractual obligations related to procurement structure and delivery schedules.
* Track regulations related to price formation and coordinate price adjustments.
* Conduct market research and negotiate with suppliers to secure the most favorable commercial conditions.
* Organize team activities, delegate tasks, and monitor execution.

 

Qualifications:

* University degree in Economics, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.
* Previous experience in wholesale pharmaceutical companies in procurement-related roles.
* Experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and market analysis.
* Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems.
* Proficiency in English.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to lead a team and make sound decisions.
* Proactive approach to work and strong results orientation.
