Financial Analyst for Global Technical Operations

About the job:
As a Financial Analyst for Global Technical Operations, you will be responsible for analysis, reporting and forecasting of costs in the area of global technical operations. Additionally, in cooperation with other departments, you will work on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes.

Responsibilities:
- Performing variance analyses against budget and forecast for cost of goods, write-offs and other costs in the area of global technical operations
- Identifying key drivers and trends that impact COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)
- Ensuring accurate management reporting through close cooperation with local finance teams, with a focus on clearly separating commercial and operational factors in order to support strategic decision-making
- Developing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of FP&A processes
- Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to cost of goods sold and technical operations in general
- Participating in the intercompany pricing process to ensure alignment with global pricing strategies
- Closely cooperating with finance, technical operations and other cross-functional teams to align financial and operational strategies

Qualifications:
- University degree in economics or social sciences, with 1–3 years of work experience in FP&A or a similar area
- Fluent knowledge of English language
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Knowledge of financial modelling, forecasting techniques and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with financial reporting systems and tools (e.g. SAP)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
