About the job: 

The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of assigned projects by developing, implementing, coordinating and tracking all project activities, as agreed with the Global Head of Engineering / Global Project Management Leader. The focus is on Capital Project Delivery at Global TechOps production sites, with a specific emphasis on process standardization, execution efficiency and performance tracking.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver assigned capital projects in line with Global STADA PM processes and ISPE good project management guidelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage all aspects of subcontractor service providers, such as Design, Engineering and Construction companies.
  • Develop and implement project financial tracking processes on “cash out” basis. 
  • Develop and maintain a master schedule of all activities related to assigned projects.
  • Ensure all necessary project delivery controls are in place with all subcontracted Design, Engineering and Constructions service providers.
  • Prepare and maintain full financial control of execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform reviews and audits as necessary to identify reliability and performance improvements.
  • Prepare and report global data and information on Global Project Management progress for management teams, as defined and agreed with the Global Head of Engineering / Global Project Management Leader.

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or another related technical field
  • Relevant Project Management experience (> 5 years) in an Engineering function in the pharmaceutical industry (or industry with comparable processes)
  • Significant knowledge of Design and Construction projects, GMP facility design and associated GxP process equipment, utilities, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a multi-disciplined subcontractor base in construction-focused projects
  • Outstanding technical knowledge with a proven ability to deliver safe and fully compliant technical solutions
  • In-depth knowledge and experience (> 10 years) of international industry Project Management standards
  • Well-developed communication skills, able to present comfortably to Senior Management and to Technical experts
  • Demonstrated understanding of key non-technical business processes (Human Resources, Finance)
  • Advance HSE and GxP/QA knowledge
