Senior Manager Global Environment (f/md)

As Senior Manager Global Environment, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving STADA’s global environmental management system. In this role, you will ensure compliance with legal requirements, reduce operational environmental impacts, and foster a proactive environmental culture across the organization. You will work closely with internal departments, production sites, and external partners to effectively drive STADA’s environmental strategy and sustainability goals.
What You Can Expect
In your role as Senior Manager Global Environment:
- You design, enhance, and manage a global environmental program in close collaboration with the Sustainability department.
- You create and implement a global environmental masterplan, including roadmaps, KPIs, and clear target-setting for continuous improvement.
- You establish and maintain a global Environmental-Governance-System to ensure legal compliance across STADA globally.
- You conduct audits, gap analyses, and risk assessments to evaluate compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- You optimize global environmental processes and standards and lead the implementation of an HSE/Environmental-Management-Tool.
- You ensure accurate documentation and high-quality data management for environmental activities.
- You develop and deliver global training programs to raise environmental awareness and foster a culture of sustainability.
- You build and manage collaboration across departments, including Sustainability, OPEX, Engineering, and production sites, to integrate environmental requirements seamlessly.
- You establish and indirectly lead a global network of environmental professionals to enhance teamwork and share best practices.
Who We Are Looking For
- You hold a university degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in environmental management, with a proven understanding of global environmental regulations and systems (ISO 45001 and 14001 are a plus).
- You have experience working in a complex, international organization with global compliance requirements.
- You are fluent in English; proficiency in German is preferred, and additional language skills are desirable.
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and intercultural competence for working across diverse global teams.
- You possess strong analytical and project management skills, combined with leadership capabilities across hierarchies and regions.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
- You are willing to travel internationally (10–20%).
