Senior Data Platform Architect (f/m/d)   

Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Permanent 

What you can expect:

• Running proof of concepts to test and evaluate new technologies and methods for improving data architecture solutions
• Managing and running data projects from start to finish, including data collection, cleansing, analysis, and visualization, to deliver actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust, flexible, and scalable data architecture solutions that meet the needs of the organization
• Lead the technical and strategic direction of data architecture, cloud architecture, and big data
• Develop and recommend data storage and processing solutions, collaborating with application development teams on integrating data solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise in data architecture to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical colleagues
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that optimize the organization's data landscape
• Craft and maintain organization-wide data standards, policies, and procedures

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a focus on data architecture.
• Demonstrable expertise in data platform architecture along with 5+ years of hands-on experience in data & analytics, with a strong preference for experience in an Azure and Snowflake environment.
• Expertise in modelling, developing, and implementing scalable data architectures, solutions, and processes.
• Expertise in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions, data lakes and being familiar with the current architectural trends.
• Experience leading and mentoring other architects or data engineers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, with a track record of successful collaboration in global, cross-functional environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, complemented by excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or comparable industries is a plus #LI-MK1 #LI-HYBRID
