STADA+ Internship: Supply Chain Transformation - Repackaging (f/m/d) Â Â
Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics | Internships / StudentsÂ
Â
From Kick-Start to Real Impact – What is STADA+?
STADA+ is more than an internship task.
It’s your opportunity to work on real business challenges with real impact.
Â
As a STADA+ intern, you work exclusively on one dedicated business case. You take ownership, collaborate with experts across functions and help transform ideas into tangible outcomes – not just slides, but initiatives that move STADA forward. Learn more about our STADA+ program here.
Â
Your STADA+ Business Case
In this STADA+ case, you will support the development of a decision-ready investment and operating model for a dedicated secondary repacking line within STADA’s European Supply Chain network.
The objective is to evaluate if establishing an internal repacking setup (in an existing European STADA site) creates a sustainable cost advantage. You will translate a strategic concept into concrete financial scenarios, quantify savings potential and support a senior-level go/no-go investment decision, potentially even paving the way for implementation.
Â
Â
Your focus will be on:
- Building a transparent and robust cost model covering CAPEX (equipment, facility adaptations, validation, FTE ramp-up) and ongoing operating costs
- Collecting and structuring cross-functional data (volumes, historic external repacking spend, write-offs, capacity assumptions) to translate strategic assumptions into financial impact
- Developing and comparing scenarios (build vs. buy vs. expand) and quantifying KPIs such as payback period, ROI and cost-of-goods impact
- Quantifying savings potential from reduced external repacking and lower write-offs, including sensitivity analyses (best/base/worst case)
- Integrating European pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, variations, artwork/pack changes) into feasibility, cost and timeline assessments
- Preparing senior management-ready Excel models and executive presentations to support a strategic go/no-go investment decision
