UK GIS Support Apprentice
Reading | United Kingdom (GB) | Full-time | Fix-term
Come and join us where you will be immersed in the Global Information Service (GIS) team at STADA. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining valuable experience in IT support, network management, and asset management.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in technology who wants to build experience in IT support, cloud platforms and digital tools.
This role is specifically aimed at an GCSE, A-Level or T-Level student who is looking for the first step on the career ladder.
How you will make an impact
- Be the first point of contact for IT support across UK GIS and STADA.
- Provide technical support to end users remotely and face to face.
- Log and resolve support requests in line with service processes and SLAs.
- Maintain hardware and software records and support business continuity.
- Help roll out and support digital tools such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Support automation, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote good customer service, cybersecurity awareness and compliance with company policies.
What we are looking for
- A strong interest in IT, technology and digital innovation.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks and cloud-based platforms.
- Awareness of Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and good customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
