Shift Leader – Pharma Packaging

 

Job Profile:

As a Shift Leader in our Pharma Packaging department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the packaging operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the production line. You will be responsible for leading a team of packaging operators and technicians, coordinating activities, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

  • Oversee personnel in the assigned area, ensuring adherence to production plans as well as occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations specific to the workplace.
  • Monitor the proper functioning of manufacturing equipment in the assigned area.
  • Ensure adherence to production plans and established work processes.
  • Develop operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Implement current operating procedures and train department employees accordingly.
  • Possess knowledge and ensure compliance with applicable regulations regarding the quality of pharmaceuticals, particularly Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, in line with both internal (Quality Manual) and external (GMP guidelines, ICH, relevant ISO standards) norms.
  • Identify opportunities for improving professional skills and continuous development within the field of activity.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in packaging operations, pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively train and develop team members.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to problem-solve and drive process improvements.
