For our team, we are currently looking for a Microbiology Analyst

 


MBL Analyst   

  | Romania (RO) | Full-time | Quality | All target groups 

 

This position will be for sampling and performing of all the analysis and processes required within the Microbiology Laboratory.

 

How will you help us:

  • Participate in defining SOPs, Working Instructions, Transfer Protocols, Verification and Validation of Testing Methods;
  • Performs analysis according to the approved analytical methods / procedures / validation protocols / protocols for method transfer;
  • Performs the analysis for the validation of the methods for finished goods and purified/city water. Receives and records the samples for analysis;
  • Performs the sampling and analysis for purified/city water and environmental monitoring and is monitoring and checking the test results;
  • Sampling, performing and interpreting of the analysis for the validation of production processes;
  • Performs the microbiological analysis for the solid dosage oral forms (finished goods);
  • Performs the analysis for the microbial contamination of the primary packaging materials;
  • Performs the identification of microorganism using the designated equipment and methods in order to develop the in-house isolates library;
  • Interprets and records the test results for microbial contamination of the finished goods, primary packaging materials, environmental monitoring and purified/city water;
  • Prepares the microbiological media required for analysis. Performs growth promotion test/ specified microorganisms on microbiological media;
  • Prepares and handles the microbiological test cultures (inoculums);
  • Collects data resulted from environmental monitoring and purified water testing and does trends for the periodic review of microbial limits;
  • Assists in the equipment qualifications;
  • Calibration of the laboratory instruments and keeping the records of it;
  • Keeps and reports the inventory for consumables. Receives the consumables into the laboratory and is distributing them into the designated areas of the laboratory;
  • Care for samples in accordance with department procedures;
  • Records in the specific logbooks/laboratory registers of all the activity performed in the laboratory; Renders for destruction of all biological hazards (contaminated petri/contact plates, inoculum vials etc.) resulted from analysis;

 

The skills you need:

  • Degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or similar;
  • Experience in a microbiological/quality control laboratory in the pharmaceutical or similar industry is a plus;
  • Knowledge GMP guidelines and ability to follow procedures and work instructions;
  • English fluent in speaking, writing and reading.
