Job Summary:

Trade Marketing Specialist

Trade Marketing Specialist is responsible for translation of brand strategies into trade strategies, creating, implementing and evaluating trade activation plans. Trade Marketing Specialist works towards enhancing brand visibility, sales, customer engagement, and manages portfolio matrix. Works cross-functionally with Sales, Brand Marketing, Supply Chain, to ensure successful implementation. Trade Marketing Specialist generates customer insights and leverages them to drive sales and bring relevant innovations for clients. Primary responsibility of Trade Marketing Specialist is Mass Market channel, however, also works with and supports Trade Marketing Manager on specific projects for Pharmacy channel.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Based on strategic brand plans, develop and execute trade marketing plans to support sales growth and brand visibility
  • Create and fine-tune category selling stories and provide input into Joint Business Planning, support Sales team in delivery to clients
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective implementation of trade promotions and marketing activities.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create and manage trade marketing materials (offline and online), including point-of-sale displays, promotional flyers, digital assets, and product samples.
  • Lead and execute the repacking process to ensure product presentation meets market standards and customer expectations.
  • Monitors and evaluates implementation of trade activities to drive effectiveness
  • Optimize shopper marketing spend through ongoing evaluation and prioritization of key activities.
  • Supports Trade Marketing Manager in key projects (seasonal sell-in activations) and meetings (sales briefings, cycle meetings)
  • Supports Trade Marketing Manager in price pack architecture (market price monitoring, implementing pricing strategies, designing sales packages, trade offers performance monitoring)
  • Plans and controls the budget allocated for marketing activities and POSM production
  • Coordinates activities with external agencies (prepacks, displays, events, contests, conferences) for Mass & Pharma channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in trade marketing, preferably within FMCG or consumer healthcare industry.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and consumer insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for marketing activities in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing
