Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert

About job:
This is a temporary subject matter expert role in Global Supply Chain organization (not IT). You will be the bridge between Supply Chain community and IT in the domain of SAP APO PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) and SNP (Supply Network Planning). Your focus will be enabling usage of APO PP/DS and SNP, increasing global adoption of the system without any business interruption. The impact of this role is heavy contribution to global supply chain KPIs by enabling planning community to use planning systems with the highest impact.
Job description:
- Acting as the global first point of contact and subject matter expert in production planning & scheduling and supply network planning systems projects, continuous improvement tasks and daily support requests
- Working in close collaboration with the Global Supply Chain Leadership (Directors and Site Heads) to define best practices, understanding the specifics of business process
- Implementing new process and functionalities globally without supervision
- Ensuring the issues are properly explained in the proper support environment (Service desk, APO improvement list, training request or etc.)
- Ensuring the requirements are in line with global supply chain strategy, properly defined, prioritized and transferred to IT
- Executing the unit tests when necessary and coordinating user tests globally
- Communicating unexpected downtimes, failures etc. to the community of practice
- Creating, reviewing, communicating, organizing and delivering, self-paced and instructor-led trainings globally
- Increasing competency level of the Community of Practice with CoE SharePoint, regular calls, best practice sharing sessions and newsletters
- Participating in the setup of the master data governance and guideline creation, to ensure periodic checks are executed and guidelines are in use
Required qualification:
- University degree with a specialization in supply chain, economics, management or related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (as a subject matter expert, consultant or key user; in a global pharma or a global consulting company)
- Minimum 2-3 years of planning experience
- Ability to demonstrate a consistent track record of successful project delivery, including at least 1 full scope SAP APO project
- Deep knowledge of SAP APO PP/DS and SNP, sound knowledge of SAP ECC PP and MM is advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Ability to travel (5% globally, 15% locally)
- Excellent leadership skills for plan-do-check-act without supervision and influencing others by acting as a role model
