Supply Chain Specialist

About the job:

The Supply Chain Specialist (SCS) has broad ranging responsibilities in all aspects of Global Inhouse Supply Planning and is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day Inhouse supply planning business results are achieved. This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within Global Supply Chain departments, each of the regional clusters and production sites to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations. The SCS will own monthly data preparation and KPI reporting of Global Inhouse Supply Planning. The position reports to Global Inhouse Supply Planning Head.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Global Inhouse Supply Planning Head in all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure that the day-to-day supply planning business results are achieved
• Deep understanding of all Supply Planning activities such as APO/SAP planning processes, Inventory Management, Supply Issues Management and Integrated Planning (MRP2)
• Liaise with Regional Cluster SC Heads to gather required information for critical KPIs and corrective actions
• Create monthly Global Supply Planning KPI Scorecard, analyze gaps vs target as well as define actions in cooperation with Regional Cluster SC Heads

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary or a Bachelor education degree preferred in pharmaceutical business, with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials management or or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 4 years of supply chain and operations experience required
• Experienced with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software (ideally APO), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (ideally SAP)
• Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories (ideally MRP2 and Lean Management).
• Hands-on experience with logistics, inventory management, and planning.
