Supply Chain Intern

OBJECTIVE

The Supply Chain internship will provide hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and operations.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in analysing supply chain data and metrics to identify efficiencies and areas of improvement.
  • Support procurement activities by analysing vendor performance and participating in supplier evaluations.
  • Help manage inventory levels and assist in the development of inventory forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to track shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute ideas to enhance overall supply chain processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management meetings as required.
  • Assist in various administrative tasks related to supply chain operations.

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION (Skills required to perform the job)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
