Site Operational Excellence Head

Working Place: Tuy Hoa - Phu Yen

 

Business Improvement Initiatives

  • Project Selection and Prioritization
  • Identifies and prioritizes improvement projects in collaboration with SLT in support of site performance saving programs, local strategies and key objectives.
  • Supports management in the identification of projects leaders, members, sponsors and steering committee.
  • Project Execution
  • Runs multiple projects and delivers on milestones, deliverables and qualitative/financial targets using OpEx tools and methodologies.
  • Orchestrate across the site the continues improvement initiatives related to SPS
  • Mentors and coaches local OpEx trained associates on projects and use of tools through to results delivery
  • Supports project teams to guarantee timely delivery of agreed upon, quantifiable targets and to reach the business benefits and operational excellence.
  • Subject Matter Expert
  • Understands and is able to play a lead role in investigations to identify root causes and appropriate sustainable solutions to business problems.
  • Continuous improvement should be linked with root cause investigation, reduction of deviations, reduction of variability etc. Continuous exchange of best practices, common understanding and lessons learned consistently across sites and Global Operations network.
  • Responsible for implementation of and compliance to the principles and practices of the STADA Manufacturing Sites Production System

 

OpEx Capability Deployment

  • In collaboration with Functional Heads, ensures end-to-end process thinking is embedded in the mind-set of the organization and all key operational processes.
  • Ensures standard approach and process is in place on how to conduct problem-solving.
  • Develops and leverage communities of practice in operational excellence for embedding OpEx thinking culturally.
  • Supports the development and deployment of the site’s Change Management Plan.
  • Keeps the SLT fully involved in continuous improvement elements of the change through regular engagement.
  •      Development of People and Capability

Provides training to:

  • Individuals and project teams on key OpEx methodologies relevant to their improvement work
  • SLT, sponsors and steering committee members
  • All appropriate associates on specific OpEx tools relevant to their everyday work
  • Maintains an understanding of site’s OpEx capability needs, gaps and development plans, ensures sustained OpEx engagement of OpEx trained associates
  • Leverages OpEx knowledge and capabilities at site level by managing and allocating the OpEx resources. Identifies new candidates for OpEx training and certification
  • Together with the respective Operational Manager is responsible to further develop Operational Excellence Leaders from the Site and to track this in individuals’ development plans.

  • Acts in line with GMP & Quality regulations, ensures internal & external audit observations are closed in time.
  • Full Compliance with all STADA requirements in Data Privacy, Quality, Integrity & Compliance policies.
  • Acts in line with STADA Values as a role model to foster high performance Growth culture.
  • Full adherence to Global and local Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.

 

Ideal Background

 

Education:

University degree in social sciences, technical or business discipline, science or medicine. Further training in: Change management; Communication; Project Management/Coaching; 6-Sigma, Lean Education and Certification

 

Languages:

Fluent in English

 

 

Experience:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  •  High performing, credible professional, with a track record of successfully managing major change; possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity; had exposure to continuous improvement programs; ability to network and communicate with top management of various functions, strong cross-functional overview and knowledge of STADA business.     
  • A good understanding in the principles and methods of medicine manufacture and GMP attained in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of applying foundational and strategic OpEx tools and techniques
  • Capable of interacting well at the shopfloor to senior leaders
  • Proven background in cost saving identification and implementation
  • Ability to train, coach and mentor
