Role Purpose:
Our UK Regulatory department is growing to support an increased product portfolio including planned new launches across our licenced medicines portfolio, including Biosimilars and Speciality Products. We have a diverse product portfolio across medicines, cosmetics, medical devices and biocides and our team are responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management
This is a newly formed role to provide strategic leadership and management of the licenced medicines regulatory affairs department. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of our strategic vision of Caring for People as a Trusted Partner. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Drive and further develop the Regulatory strategy for licenced medicines.
- Manage, coach and develop a team of 8 Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance team members via 3 Team Leaders.
- Manage the allocation and governance of €2m+ budget for UK Regulatory Affairs Department
- Build local and global relationships with the Regulatory function, providing timely reporting of functional KPIs and proactive communication on local legislative and business updates.
- Support management of all regulatory activities in a safe, effective and efficient manner, ensuring that STADA UK are fully compliant with its product responsibilities under Licence Medicinal Product legislation.

- Ideally a Life Science degree or equivalent.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in a global regulatory team within either a research and development or established products environment.
- Strong working knowledge and experience of applicable EU and UK Regulations, Directives and Guidance across licenced medicines (Biosimilars and Speciality experience would be highly advantageous) working in a fast paced new product launch environment.
- Well developed communication and influencing skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders such as the MHRA.
- A proven track record of people management /development skills and the ability to deliver results through others.
