Key Responsibilities:

  1. Medical Strategy Development:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement the medical strategy.
    • Stay updated with the latest clinical data and research to inform decision-making.
  2. Medical Information and Communication:

    • Develop and review scientific content for medical materials, including slide decks, literature, and product monographs.
    • Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of medical information.
  3. Clinical Research Oversight:

    • Assist in the design and execution of clinical trials.
    • Collaborate with clinical operations to ensure the quality of clinical research and the adherence to regulatory and ethical standards.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the respective therapeutic area.
    • Represent the organization in scientific conferences, seminars, and other medical events.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Provide medical training to internal teams, including sales and marketing.
    • Stay updated with continuous medical education and ensure team members are informed of the latest developments in the field.
  6. Regulatory and Compliance:

    • Ensure all medical activities comply with local, national, and international regulations.
    • Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to support product registrations and label updates.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment of medical strategy with business objectives.
    • Contribute to product development teams by providing medical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (M.D.) or equivalent. In some cases, a PhD in a relevant field may be accepted.
  • Clinical or research experience in the therapeutic area is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including the drug development process and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives.
  • Proficient in scientific literature analysis and presentation.
