Marketing Intern   

Reading | United Kingdom (GB) | Full-time | Fix-term 

 

OBJECTIVE

The Marketing intern will have the opportunity to learn about the principles of pharmaceutical marketing including the regulatory framework we work within through hands on experience collaborating in an innovative, engaging and team orientated environment.

 

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • Become familiar with the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry, and develop understanding of its applicability to the role of Marketing activity.
  • Learning best approach in the creation of marketing materials
  • Understanding appropriate activity within the ABPI Code of Practice
  • Working in accordance with our compliance procedures, legislation and regulatory requirements at all times. This includes, but not limited to, directives and guidance such as PMCPA, NMC, APBI Code of Practice, GMDP and other GxPs.

 

Provide operational support to the international marketing team through:

  • Building knowledge of the neurology portfolio
  • Liaising with local colleagues to support two-way communication between global and local
  • marketers
  • Developing marketing content that will support the promotion of the neurology portfolio to healthcare professional internationally
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of local/international congresses incl. organisation and coordination of symposia
  • Assist with compliance approvals and liaise with agencies and internal staff to ensure that items are uploaded on to the compliance system, Veeva PromoMats
  • Development and management of internal trackers, timelines, and other internal documentation
  • Development of communications and campaigns to support attendance at external & internal meetings
  • Management of contracts, Purchase Order creation, tracking and receipting
  • Build relationships between BPL and external vendors/agencies

 

As needed based on the current business requirement:

  • Support job bag creation and management using Veeva Vault
  • Internal/External Marketing meetings & logistics support
  • Congress activities support (planning of meetings, liaison with third party providers, briefs, etc.)
  • Assist with additional adhoc duties when required
