Ideally located near Manchester/ Liverpool/Lancaster and their suburbs.
We are currently searching for an experienced and strategically focused account management professional to join us as our Healthcare Partnership Manager for North West England,
This role is responsible for achieving optimal formulary positioning and driving sales growth for STADA UK, within the territory for our Rx Core brands (focusing on respiratory and dermatology), within allocated health economies. As the single point of contact, for our customers working across PCN’s, Trusts and ICB’s you will demonstrate a targeted approach to account planning, focusing on high-opportunity accounts. The primary objective is to deliver formulary inclusion whilst driving execution and pull through to deliver sales growth.
Reporting into the North Regional Business Manager, your key focus will be on building partnerships with key stakeholders and applying a targeted approach to account planning, focusing on high-opportunity accounts, maximising sales potential and optimal formulary positioning to achieve mutual outcomes to create a win: win for NHS, Patients and STADA.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Formulary Positioning: Achieve optimal formulary positioning, ensuring alignment with ICB priorities.
- Account Management: Serve as the single point of contact for decision makers and other key HCPs within the ICB. Develop relationships and foster partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Targeted Approach: Employ a targeted approach to identify and prioritise high-opportunity accounts, maximising sales potential, and optimal formulary positioning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build long term relationships and foster partnerships with stakeholder groups through face-to-face interactions. Leverage digital platforms and communication channels when necessary to enhance engagement and meet customer preferences.
- Sales Execution: Drive execution of sales strategies and initiatives to ensure pull-through of formulary positioning to achieve sales targets.
- Market Insight: Gather market intelligence, including competitor analysis and customer feedback, to inform strategy development and enhance decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies, leverage resources, and ensure a coordinated approach to account management.
What We Are Looking For
- Educated to degree level in preferably a science subject.
- ABPI qualified, with a clear understanding of the ABPI code of conduct and the requirement for compliance at all times.
- At least 3 years of branded (ethical) pharmaceutical sales experience, ideally with a background in selling to key stakeholders across ICS/ICB/HB.
- Proven sales success within the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrating the ability to drive formulary inclusion, optimization, and overall sales growth.
- In-depth knowledge of the NHS structure, policy, processes, and key governing bodies, with an extensive understanding of the secondary care market and formulary inclusion process.
- Experience in dermatology and respiratory is highly desirable.
- Good networks and relationships within disease areas and ICS/ICB/HB, an advantage for collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in market analysis, including gathering competitor intelligence and customer insights.
- Account planning and project management skills to drive execution of account plans, initiatives, and deliver pull-through to achieve sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.
- A champion of ethics, promoting integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.
