About the Sales Key Account Pharma department

This department is in the lead of the coops and associations (key account clients). The department is responsible for all plans related to the sales structure, the sales team, the client contacts and the sales conditions for all key account clients. The goal is to achieve the yearly targets, acting in line with our values and our purpose.

 

About your role

 

The Key Account Manager South is in the lead of all sales activities related to the key account clients of his/her region (Wallonia). Together with the sales manager he/she will prepare and defend strategic plans to assure the sales growth of his/her region. In his/her region the KAM will be in the lead of the negotiation with groups, build strong marketing plans and will also visit pharmacies for about 50% if his/her time.  The people management and the coaching of a small team of representatives are also an important part of the role.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • set a target together with the SM
  • negotiate the yearplan with the clients
  • set up a visit strategy (passage) and marketing plan for each client
  • visit for 50% of the time the POS linked to different groups
  • coach the reps and follow up the rep KPI’s
  • take the lead in launches
  • anticipate deadlines and respects the internal guidelines on negotiations / prices / discounts
  • control the different actions and the agreements made during the negotiation with the client
  • follow the financials for each client: gross sales, gross margin, discount levels, marketing investments
  • analyze the impact of the marketing plan and the up-sales realized by the actions
  • monitor covering and targeting for each client - SO analysis for each client
  • set-up and maintain communication flows with other departments (supply / pharma care / marketing / finance / BI)

 

Required profile

 

  • Motivated, Energetic and Passionate (MEP)
  • You act in line with our values: Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Agility and One Stada.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pharma sales
  • Bachelor level
  • Good teamplayer, strong communicator with solid analytical skills
  • Strong selling skills
  • Passion to develop and help grow the people in the team
  • Fluent in French and Dutch
