Integrated Healthcare Manager

North East | United Kingdom (GB) | Full-time | Permanent 

This is a target results-based sales role within a specified territory whereby you will own the relationship between the STADA UK division and assigned local accounts. You will develop a robust business plan for the territory focused on exceeding defined targets and driving profitable growth into the division. You will be responsible for developing an aligned strategy for the territory including effective account management fully understanding forecasting, providing market/competitive feedback and achieving customer satisfaction scores.

 

This position will require an individual who is results oriented, high motivated to succeed, operates with a sense of urgency, has an excellent work ethic and maintains the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

 

You will need to fully understand the NHS environment funding structures, regulation and advisory boards, building relationships and network with regulatory authorities to gain knowledge and influence over the broader health economy.

 

Each territory will also be aligned to a number of global country affiliates, this role will be responsible for providing support, training, best practice sharing to ensure those countries drive performance and overachieve their specified sales targets.

 

You will deliver the commercial sales and market share objectives within the defined region through targeted campaign activity aligned to brand strategy and Sales Force Excellence (SFE) according to the Britannia SFE program.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Design, implement, maintain and update quarterly high-quality account plans and CRM records with detailed targeted account/customer tactics to support brand strategies and achieve exemplary sales results whilst utilising advanced clinical selling skills and key account management techniques to drive depth and breadth of prescribing across customers
  • Analyse and review performance of assigned accounts against plans to maximise opportunities and address any threats, interpreting trends which impact both positively and negatively upon the business, making recommendations to commercial business leaders on account resource allocation & presenting data in a structured format
  • Obtain, maintain and share an excellent standard of specialist product knowledge, enabling environmental assessment, market intelligence and liaison with cross-functional teams to facilitate competitive advantage and increase in sales volumes 
  • Build productive partnership relationships and deliver added value of Britannia/STADA products to patients and the NHS engaging these interactions with the wider Marketing and Business Support Services
  • Take personal ownership for proactively driving own development, skills, knowledge and experience of Britannia/STADA products and services 
  • Accountable for forming relationships across specific countries affiliates to ensure their Britannia/STADA product knowledge is exemplary and that targeted account plans are in place to facilitate the country achieving sales forecasts. This could include traveling to locations to upskill local representatives in UK best practice ways of operating 
  • Gaining formulary inclusions, positive guideline reviews, endorsement statements or similar outputs that result in a positive sales climate for Britannia/STADA products including Identification, development and mobilisation of key opinion leaders (KOL’s) to support Britannia/STADA products
  • Leading by example utilising company/partner resources and harness appropriate expertise to support in removing barriers to Britannia product portfolio usage
  • Assist and participate productively in symposia and congress events to raise Britannia/STADA awareness and also identify influential customers/stakeholders to aid the promotion of disease, treatment and product awareness
  • Adhere to and operate within company guidelines and APBI Code of Practice
  • Report adverse events associated with the use of Britannia/STADA marketed products to the medical information and pharmacovigilance team as per company SOPs

 

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION 

  • Works with influence and credibility, building effective/open working relationships with team/wider stakeholders across the business
  • Is intellectually curious, looking to the future to understand and flex around changing priorities and business needs as well as fully understanding the changing NHS initiatives, health care economy and social care needs
  • Acts as a champion and advocate for the role, business and customers, with a passion to deliver positive experiences. Possesses strong connections to external networks to understand best practice and continually grow knowledge and networks
  • Self-directing but equally comfortable acting as a coach and mentor to develop others
  • An effective and adaptable communicator comfortably one on one or in delivering larger scale presentations
  • Takes an entrepreneurial approach, looking for creative and innovative solutions to solve challenges. Including effective time management, business/account planning and contract negotiations
  • Degree qualified, preferably Science/ Applied Science/ Business discipline
  • Significant experience in a similar key account management position within a pharmaceutical and or clinical hospitals
  • Analytical and presentation skills able to calculate and articulate (i.e. ROI calculation, forecasting and planning)
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Proficient and skilled in multi-channel digital platform engagement. Organising, facilitating and reviewing digital calls, meetings and events
  • Must be ABPI Qualified
