IT Business Partner

OBJECTIVE

The IT Business Partner will bridge the gap between IT and business operations within the Company and help the Company move forwards through technology optimisation.

This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills to translate business needs into effective technology solutions, while also contributing to various IT initiatives that align with our strategic business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic Partnership:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels, understanding their needs and goals.
• Collaborate closely with the IT team, within the Company, the UK, and the worldwide group, to ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements (GxP).
• Actively contribute to the IT strategy, ensuring it supports overall business goals.
• Proactively identify opportunities for IT to enable business growth & innovation, and drive implementation.

SAP S/4HANA Implementation:

• Play a key role in the implementation, gathering and analysing business requirements alongside the centralised S/4HANA team.
• Support system configuration, testing, and user adoption.
• Act as a liaison between business users and the technical team.

Technical Support & Expertise:

• Provide timely and effective technical support and troubleshooting to users.
• Proactively identify and resolve IT issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of IT systems and processes.

Ongoing IT Initiatives:

• Analyse business processes and translate them into clear IT requirements.
• Participate in solution design and validation, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory compliance.
• Lead change management activities, facilitating user adoption and minimising disruption.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to IT projects and services.

• Compliance

  Be responsible for working in accordance with our compliance procedures, legislation and regulatory requirements at all times.  This includes, but not limited to, directives and guidance such as PMCPA, NMC, APBI Code of Practice, GMDP and other GxPs.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION (Skills required to perform the job)

Essential:

• Proven experience as an IT Business Partner or similar role, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Broad IT technical understanding with troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Awareness of GxP regulations and system validation.
• Financial acumen and budgeting skills.

Desirable:

• Demonstrable SAP S/4HANA knowledge.
• Good understanding of GxP practices and Computer Systems Validation (CSV).
• Familiarity with Prince2 & Agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of change management best practices.
