STADA UK Thornton & Ross - Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) has broad ranging responsibilities in all aspects of inhouse supply chain and is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day inhouse supply chain business results are achieved. This role combines analysis and reporting along with hands-on application within site supply chain and site departments, as well as global supply chain and operations to ensure excellence in the overall performance of the operations. The SCA will own weekly and monthly data preparation and KPI reporting of site inhouse supply chain. The SCA will own the process of inventory management for the site with governance through the monthly supply review and mbr processes including slow-moving and obsolete inventory management process .
How You Will Make an Impact
- You will assist the site supply chain head to ensure the achievement of daily supply planning business results.
- Utilize your deep understanding of supply chain activities, including APO/SAP planning, inventory management, and integrated planning (MRP2).
- Work closely with department heads to gather necessary information for critical KPIs and implement corrective actions.
- Create monthly supply chain KPI MBR reports, analyze gaps versus targets, and define actionable steps with planners and purchasers.
- Take responsibility for managing inventory according to MRP2 guidelines and establish best practices for inventory level control.
- Engage in the inventory review process and ensure it aligns with the approved site supply model.
- Examine processes that impact inventory value projections and design parameters for effective inventory control.
- Lead initiatives to enhance healthy inventory levels and reduce unhealthy stock, including analyzing stock depreciation and proposing solutions for write-offs.
What We Are Looking For
- You hold a degree or equivalent qualification / experience
- A strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, manufacturing, or materials
- You are experienced with supply chain management software (APO - preferable), Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (SAP - preferable)
- Understanding of integrated supply chain and logistics concepts and theories (ideally mrp2 and lean management).
- Hands-on experience with logistics, inventory management, and planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills (e.g. Ms-xl, database applications, reporting cockpits)
