About the Role:

The Laboratory Services Team provide the resources to keep the laboratory functioning and enable the Analysts to carry out the QC testing requirements. Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Is key to the Safety and Quality of process the Team provides. 

The role of the LIMS Admin Officer is to act as the local topic specialist for Labware LIMS user management, configuration of the system and to act as the point of contact with the Global LIMS Team, key users and stakeholders at T&R. They are responsible for maintaining and coordinating upgrades for the new system, liaising with Global experts regarding troubleshooting as well as maintaining and existing Matrix Gemini LIMS. They will also provide training, produce relevant documentation relating to LIMS and act as the UK Business Administrator.

• BSc in Chemistry (or related science-based qualification)               
• Experience of problem solver
• High level of computer literacy  
• Experience in using SQL and LIMS Basic 
• Have a keen eye for, and good attention to, detail
• Able to work well in a team
