Linthwaite, Huddersfield (Hybrid working)



Our Regulatory department is growing to support an increased product portfolio including planned new launches in 2024 and we are looking for experienced regulatory affairs professionals with cosmetics expertise to join our growing team! The role itself will give the opportunity to develop your regulatory expertise within a diverse product portfolio including end-to-end product lifecycle management from new product registrations to maintenance. With a 38-hour working week, we can offer great flexibility to suit your preferred working pattern based around our core hours which are 10am-3pm Mon to Thurs and 10am - 1pm on Fridays with additional opportunities for hybrid home/office working.

Role Purpose:


You will be joining a team of Regulatory specialists and will report to a Regulatory Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-going maintenance of T&R’s diverse portfolio of cosmetics in addition to supporting new product registration predominantly for the UK market as well as supporting European launches.


This role is key in supporting the delivery of our strategic vision of Caring for People as a Trusted Partner. On a day-to-day basis you will:


  • Work with key stakeholders (internal and external) to act as the regulatory point of contact on business projects including NPD/maintenance for cosmetics. You will also have an opportunity to gain exposure to medical devices and biocides portfolios on an ad hoc cover basis.  
  • Support new and existing product maintenance inc. compilation and submission of documentation and dossier review/gap-analysis as required.
  • Support business development function with regard to NPD regulatory project activities and dossier development where necessary.

  • A relevant Life Sciences Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 years’ work experience such as an industrial placement year in a cosmetic’s Regulatory role. This should include experience working on the registration and/or life-cycle management of product files (inc. dossier updates / product information generation as relevant).
  • Basic understanding of the commercial drivers and regulatory strategies/registration routes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills and able to partner effectively with a wide variety of key stakeholders both locally and globally.
