About the Role:

The job exists to provide a resources for transporting materials in the packing areas and to provide washouts where applicable.  To ensure that materials, components, intermediates and finished products are transported to and from the production lines in a safe and efficient manner. Key duties include but aren’t limited to:

 

  • Completing weekly/daily pre-operational truck safety checks;
  • Maintain all trucks in good working order following defined procedures;
  • Transporting finished and intermediate goods to storage areas;
  • Ensure that components are delivered to production lines when required;
  • Ensure that completed product is removed from the production lines when required;
  • Liaise with all relevant personnel within the packing areas and warehouse;
  • Ensure that sufficient stocks of pallets are available to meet the needs of all areas;
  • To be a member of the changeover and cleaning teams;

  • Experience in working in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift License (preferrable)
  • Minimum GCSE’s or equivalent in Math’s and English
  • Basic IT skills
